Title: GNR #10 in top 10 of the 80's Post by: slashsaxl on February 29, 2004, 05:41:11 PM just watching canada's much more music, and they went through the 10 worst of the 80's and started the 10 best of the 80's and our gunners got the #10 slot, they introduced them as one of rocks most controversial bands to date,
claimed that slash replaced eric clapton as the new guitar god axl love him or hate him, there was all this hype about him that drew people in gnr took everything that bands like motley crue did and flipped it and took rock back to the streets, they said that not since the days of led zeppelin and (can't remember) had this hard rock metal music been this raw i'm sure i missed something, so far that i seen, tina turner was #9 and van halen was #8 rock n' roll |
