Title: Rock in Rio History Post by: redarmy76 on February 28, 2004, 01:26:51 PM Could somebody give me a brief synopsis of what the festival really is and how it began. I realize that this must be a pretty important event cuz Axl and Co. seem to be pretty into it. When and how did it start? Is it a benefit for someone/somebody, or just a good reason to have a bunch of bands together (like Woodstock,etc.)
