Some one in the forum put up this link that has some of the current rumors and many others stating that GNR will be @ different shows in Europe.  Can anyone find out if this is real?

Well, I don't see these dates on Mean Fiddler's official site, but maybe they are being kept hush-hush.  At this point, who the fuck knows?

Looks like a fairly extensive tour.  I'd love to have this be accurate...it does fit in with recent rumors, but that's circular argument if ever there was one.

that is an extensive list of summer performances, certainly enough to warrant the release of a long-awaited cd ;)time will tell i guess if 2004 will be an active year, but does anyone remember the Kill Bill wallpaper from last year? "2003 is the year where Axl Rose will kick your ass" :hihi:

Guns n'roses and Marilyn Manson are set to be among the headliners at the Cotes Du Rock festival in France this year. The festival takes place in July, and no bands have been officially confirmed yet

That was posted yesterday. All he did was basically compile all rumors from HTGTH and put them up on a different board.

He says Sanctuary confirmed a Summer tour to him,but when you email them,all they ever say is "When news arrives it will be announced" or whatever.I smell BS.

It would be nice to know if they know what they are talking about since they are fairly sure of a Euro summer tour and the album coming out a few months after Greatest Hits.

they seem to have dates and locations as well...if half of these turn out to be true then that would ROCK

I really do not understand why you choose to remove this topic. At least 50% of the topics are about rumors or rumors itself! There's no difference at all!!

Rather delete topics wherein bandmembers get bashed and bashed. Those aren't of any use and do more harm than good!

Nothing was removed, it was merged with a thread about the same thing.  ::)

If people took the time to read posts on the board, I wouldn't have to merge threads at all.

This much is true, but supporting and opening for are 2 very different things in most cases.

In other news, did anybody else catch this quote from some dude on Bucketheadland.com:

Yeah, that pic sucks but i'm brazillian and obviously i can read the text and it's saying that Axl is the only former member.You can see in the last paragraph the current lineup.

Why does it suck? That picture is of the greatest band that ever existed in their prime. Some GNR fan u r.

Also remember they would be hard pressed to get a picture of the new band in there - after 3 years of being together they are yet to appear together in one shot........

Speaking of photos...Dark, what ever became of those band shots your friend in California was talking about around the time of the New Year??  Obviously, we have yet to see them, but did you ever get an update on them??  I remember hearing there were colors and B+W with both individual and group shots...

Jarmo's saracastic comments aside, I'll go ahead and answer you.  The last time I communicated with my Photographer friend (via email) was about 2 1/2 weeks ago - at the time, he told me he'd contact the guy and try to get more info for me.. I've yet to hear back from him.  I know the guy's busy, so I find this hardly surprising - but I will go ahead and drop him a line tonight or tomorrow (or possibly give him a ring) to see if he managed to get any more info, positive or negative.
