Here Today... Gone To Hell!

I downloaded "paradise city" of Chicago 2002 on dizzyreed.com and MUSICALLY The new Guns n' Roses are very, very impressive. The end of that song is  :o  I think musically they are truely amazing. However, I still have a probleme with their looks and attitude on stage (they don't have a feeling as great as the old band and they don't have enought charisma exept for Fortus who is GREAT, even Axl isn't as great as before.)  but I repeat it: MUSICALLY they have the potencial to be THE biggest band in the world. Nightrain of chicago 2002 is amazing too...

i know what you mean about the look, they don't have the bad boys of rock n' roll look that the old gnr had, but then again these guys aren't 24-25 years of age, there isn't a doubt that the music this new band makes is gonna be something else on another level

oh yeah musically they are massively impressive. It's a shock, their sound is like a storm. really. I think it's a very good idea to have 3 guitar players. At the end of paradise city Buckethead, fink and Fortus are making their guitar solos at the same time. it's very impressive. a kind of "guitar fight" . I really hope their will be a kind of "guitar fight" on the album, something like the end of Paradise City. with that kind of thing, they will sell MILLION records...

Unfortunately being a great musician/band of musicians has never been a guarantee for selling millions of records.  

I think they will be great.  I was sceptical about them when they first came together but when I saw them in nov 14 2002 (ya, i still remember the day and always will) I was blown away.  I remember standing there yelling HOLY SHIT!  :o  I couldn't believe how awesome they were live.  Once Chinese Democracy is released I think they will be very successful. :hihi:

I agree. There is no doubt this band is capable of being extremely successful once the CD is released.  Hopefully Buckethead won't have to come out in a walker by then.

i think this band most definately has an imminent success vibe to their live presence, yet studio wise we currently have nothing to go by except a 20 second radio promo sporting material that could be long changed or even scrapped by now. all i need to assure me is my MSG, Columbus, and Boston bootlegs to know once and for all that this is the future of guns n' roses, and oh my i cant wait ;D.the one thing i dont like about this new band is the distance and lack of chemistry for the most part this band lacks. i mean all 3 guitarist keep several feet apart and are never really side by side like Duff or Slash were. basically theres no real interaction. its all good though :D

Oh yeah, I mean, I've said it once and I'll continue to say it, this band, musically, is the absolute best band I've ever heard. They are a sonic-monster. And I disagree with your opinion about their look. They are totally different than any other band out there, and people will be drawn to them...

I also I agree this new lineup is capable of being extremely successful once the CD is released. The only promble I see with this band is no CD released yet or date set yet.  

 :DI agree.I think if they do release C.D.that it will sell alot.I don't like their look though,but then again,alot of people didn't like GN'Rs look when the band first started.

I am a fan of the old and the new GN'R.I wish that they would atleast include OMG on the greatest hits,but sadly the fucking record company won't.

The record company is just out to make money.It has always been that way and it will always be that way.I think it would be cool if Axl signed with another record company,it seems that all Geffen/Interscope is giving him is shit.

Well I hope that we will get C.D.soon,but I will buy the G.H.anyways.Oh,well take care.

I've read your posts. I know you dont hate the band, you just get upset when the band does shitty things like release GH instead of CD.  I also get upset.

The new band rule Buckethead is a guitar god! I have said this b4 that there are amazing perfomers but look at Buckethead you look at him and see a crazy personality blooming from him lol.
