Title: Perla sends Axl a chritsmas card every year!!! Post by: erose on February 17, 2004, 09:13:20 PM Today there was an article in the second biggest newspaper in Norway (Dagbladet) which talked about Slash's new band Velvet Revolver. The writer of the article has interviewed them (VR) in the U.S.
They mention the canceled concert in Oslo 91 and Duff going to a university... Nothing new really, but when Slash was asked if he had contact with Axl he said he hadn't talked to them since he left the band... He mentioned though that Pearla, his wife who have never met Axl, sends him a Christmas card every year, just to be nice! And he (Slash) mentiones that it's not like they have alot of money since Axl spent more money than GN'R ever made... ::) yeah right... Fist single out May 3rd, and the album will be out the 24th... 2. it said slash was forced out of the band! 3. well, i rembre it was more i reacted on, but dont rembre it now.... and the headline has the Guns N' Roses name, and its about Velvet Revolver.... damn... oh yeah, they didnt even mention scott beeing locked down in rehab.... :no: the rest was cool i guess, cool to see a norwegian paper do more then just " GNR reforming with out axl" article... : ok: Title: Re:Pearla sends Axl a chritsmas card every year!!! They call Axl a bitter man too, but i guess they all are in some way... since slash said "forced out of the band"... I was fucking shocked tho when i read the headline with Guns N' Roses in huge letters and the double page pic of Duff, Slash and Matt in the paper edition... I wrote the interviewer an e-mail and asked if he had some more pics and if he could send me the interview in full text... and if he recorded it... hope he replies... i even offerd a bunch of bootlegs as a trade ;D Title: Re:Pearla sends Axl a chritsmas card every year!!! Hasn't Axl once said that Slash was a liar? Somehow I believe the boss. Regardless of this, to me it sounds like a joke. Slash probably has enough sense of humour to say something like that. I think that it's entirely normal perla should send a xmas card. It shows she was brought up well and tries to be nice and polite and maybe bring them a little closer, forget the past type thing.
